The project combines the analysis of exsisting databases with the collection of new data, at micro and meso level, through a firm-level survey. The survey aims to gather new indicators that allow INGINEUS to compare industries across different regions to:

Understand what type of innovative activities are conducted in different regions and countries

Understand the human and technological capabilities required for the different activities and how these capabilities are accumulated over time

Understand the role of the national and regional systems that support the upgrading and internationalisation process of the firm, including the role of university-industry relationships
